On 9 January of the current year, a meeting was held at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System with the participation of secretaries of sectoral councils and responsible staff members. During the meeting, the Director of the Institute provided comprehensive information on the role and responsibilities of sectoral councils in the development of the national qualifications system, as well as on the planned measures aimed at ensuring the qualitative and timely implementation of priority and target indicators for 2026.

In particular, it was emphasized that the fourth priority area identified in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan—namely, the development of professions and the formation of a new labor market architecture—plays a significant role in improving the national qualifications system.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the proposals and opinions expressed by the participants are of considerable importance in further improving the national qualifications system, enhancing its effectiveness, and ensuring its practical implementation.
