On 16 January of the current year, an online (Zoom) meeting was held with the participation of representatives of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan to develop the Occupational Standard for the profession of “Dual Education Mentor”, which was additionally included among the occupations selected within the framework of the European Training Foundation (ETF) “DARYA” project. In accordance with the agenda, representatives of Kazakhstan presented information on the current progress in developing the occupational standard for “Dual Education Mentor,” the qualification and professional requirements for dual education mentors in the mining and metallurgical complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the activities being implemented in this area. Furthermore, proposals put forward by the representatives of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan regarding the improvement of the structure of the occupational standard and the examination program were discussed. During the meeting, it was announced that work on developing the occupational standard for the “Dual Education Mentor” profession has commenced in Uzbekistan, and that a special working group has been established for this purpose. At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to regularly exchange experience and hold joint working meetings within the framework of the “DARYA” project.
