An online meeting was held between the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System and the Turkish Vocational Qualifications Authority

On January 22 of this year, an online meeting took place between representatives of the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System and the Vocational Qualifications Authority of the Republic of Türkiye (Mesleki Yeterlilik Kurumu – MYK).

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on improving the methodology for developing occupational standards in Uzbekistan based on Türkiye’s experience. In particular, advanced and modern approaches applied in the development of occupational standards, assessment tools, and qualification certification processes were discussed.

The meeting also reviewed opportunities to organize joint training sessions and advisory activities aimed at accrediting assessment centers, enhancing their institutional capacity, and strengthening quality assurance mechanisms.

In addition, the participants discussed expanding the involvement of employers within the national qualifications system, developing social partnership, and studying Türkiye’s experience in forecasting occupations that are in high demand and newly emerging in the labor market.
