A meeting was held with a representative of the UK-based organization AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance), focusing on issues of mutual cooperation, the national qualifications system, and quality assurance in vocational education.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System, and the Institute for the Development of Vocational Education.

During the discussions, issues related to the development of occupational standards and the design of education and training programs based on UK experience were examined.

In addition, particular attention was given to ensuring quality in the qualification assessment process, as well as to matters of methodological cooperation.

During the dialogue, the AQA representative provided an overview of the activities of awarding bodies and the mechanisms of external quality assurance.
