On February 9 of this year, a meeting was held within the framework of cooperation with UNESCO aimed at strengthening quality assurance in Uzbekistan’s national qualifications and vocational education system. The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System, the Agency for Vocational Education, and the Swiss organization Helvetas.

During the dialogue, the main directions of the mission of UNESCO expert Dana Stroie were discussed. In particular, the final issues related to the development of the Concept for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and the roadmap for its implementation were at the center of attention. In addition, the discussions covered ensuring the reliability of skills and competencies assessment, as well as strengthening the consistency and alignment between professional standards and assessment processes.
