On April 30, 2025, a business dialogue titled “Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – Uzbekistan: A New Direction of Cooperation” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the event, Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, emphasized that, amid profound changes in global economic processes, expanding cooperation with YOII countries is of strategic importance for Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the YOII business community participated in the dialogue, including Sergey Krasilnikov, Vice President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Russia, and Vladimir Salamatov, Chairman of the YOII Business Council Committee. They shared their views on industrial cooperation, increasing mutual trade, introducing innovations, and joint initiatives in the field of education.

During the business dialogue, the parties paid special attention to ensuring economic stability, improving workforce qualifications, and technology exchange.

A significant agreement was signed during the event — a Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute for the Development of the National Qualification System under the Project Office “Center for Projects in the Field of Education” of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Russia’s National Agency for the Development of Qualifications (https://t.me/uzchamber). This document is aimed at mutual recognition of professional qualifications, harmonization of educational systems, and promoting professional mobility in the labor market.
