The cooperation between the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the Institute for the Development of the National Qualification System is further expanding.

On October 3, 2025, important cooperation initiatives were launched in Uzbekistan aimed at developing the education and vocational qualifications system and aligning it with international standards. In this context, the meeting held between the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System was of particular significance.

The dialogue was attended by ETF representative E. Jansova, Institute Director A. Allabergenov, and responsible staff, and it focused on cooperation prospects, ongoing reforms, and the introduction of international experience.

The meeting primarily discussed the work carried out, achievements, and future plans regarding the development of national and transnational professional standards within the framework of the second module of the DARYA project.

The ETF representative highly appreciated the Institute’s consistent efforts in developing the national qualification system and emphasized that the extensive reforms are recognized internationally. In particular, the ETF stated its readiness to strengthen cooperation with the Institute, involve international experts in implementing reforms, and provide support in this area.

At the conclusion of the dialogue, both parties highlighted the high effectiveness of mutual cooperation, the opening of new opportunities for improving the education and qualification system, and stressed the importance of joint actions for the successful completion of tasks planned for 2026.

This meeting is not only a new stage in international dialogue but also a vivid demonstration that Uzbekistan is taking decisive steps in global reforms in the field of education and professional qualifications.
