On January 9 of the current year, a meeting was held at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System with the participation of secretaries of sectoral councils and responsible staff members.

During the meeting, the Director of the Institute provided comprehensive information on the role and responsibility of sectoral councils in the development of the national qualifications system, as well as on the planned measures aimed at ensuring the high-quality and timely implementation of priority and target indicators set for 2026.

In particular, it was emphasized that the fourth priority area outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan—namely, the development of professions and the formation of a new labor market architecture—holds significant importance in improving the national qualifications system.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the proposals and feedback expressed by the participants are of great importance for further enhancing the national qualifications system, increasing its effectiveness, and ensuring its practical implementation.
