On February 23 of this year, professional development courses commenced at the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System for candidates to be engaged as experts in the qualification assessment process. This seminar-training is intended for experts recommended by the sectoral councils for the development of professional qualifications. Its primary objective is to ensure the effective organization of independent, transparent, and impartial assessment processes within the framework of the National Qualifications System, to develop assessment criteria, and to strengthen the legal and methodological foundations of expert activities. The five-day training program covers the following areas: Priority tasks in the development of the National Qualifications System of Uzbekistan Sectoral qualifications frameworks and the stages of their development Procedures for the development and expert review of professional standards The relevance and practical significance of implementing the qualification assessment system Mechanisms for the recognition of non-formal and informal learning (RPL system) Procedures for assigning qualification grades to skilled workers Principles for the establishment and accreditation of qualification assessment centers Methodology for developing assessment criteria and tools for professional examinations Risk management and accountability mechanisms in expert activities Analysis of professions subject to mandatory certification based on international experience Throughout the seminar-training, participants will strengthen their competencies in organizing assessment processes through not only theoretical knowledge but also practical exercises, discussions, and case study analyses. These training courses serve to enhance the professional capacity of experts, ensure the quality and reliability of assessment processes, and further strengthen the institutional foundations of the National Qualifications System.
