📚 In accordance with the Action Plan developed by the Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-9 dated January 15, 2026, “On Measures to Develop a Reading Culture and Increase Public Interest in Reading,” the project “One Week – One Book” has been launched.

📚 Our first book is the memoir novella “Dunyoning ishlari” (“The Affairs of the World”) by the People’s Writer of Uzbekistan, O‘tkir Hoshimov.

✍️ This work consists of a series of short novellas. However, in each of them there is the image of the dearest person in my life — my mother. I have personally known all the people described in this book; only some of their names have been changed. In one way or another, the destinies of these individuals are connected to my mother. All mothers in the world are remarkably alike in their love and devotion to their children. Therefore, this work is dedicated to you, dear mothers!
